Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and data-driven Contract Project and Product Manager to bridge the gap between our product development and sales teams. You will serve as the vital link between our sales and development teams, providing crucial leadership and assistance to help our team land more business. This hybrid project management and product management role will have you guiding our development team to make decisions based on customer and prospect needs, while ensuring our active projects remain on time and on budget. This is a dynamic role requiring excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
This role will be a 14-month contract position, covering a maternity leave. Weekly hours may vary depending on the needs of the ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Manage the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and aligned with stakeholder expectations while ensuring compliance with IT Delivery Standards and Project Management Guidelines.
- Collaborate with the VP of Development and VP of Delivery and Support on aspects of project execution, including scheduling, estimating, risk management, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Oversee and review project documentation such as business cases, project/change requests, and executive-level reporting.
- Collaborate with external partners (e.g., system integrators, service providers) to support project delivery.
- Prepare and share project status reports with stakeholders and team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, tools, templates, and standards.
Product Management
- Assist in defining product vision and strategy and manage a roadmap that aligns with business goals and sales targets.
- Represent the sales team in project and product meetings to ensure decisions are being made with the customer and sales in mind.
- Maintain a central repository of product information. This includes sales content, technical requirements, training materials, sales materials, pricing, delivery & support protocols) on the product intranet site.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to ensure successful internal and external product releases.
Skills/Qualifications:
- A diploma, certificate or degree in the Business, Product Management, or Project Management fields.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Project Management or Product Management experience.
- Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience working in an agile environment or with past SaaS companies considered an asset.
